Josh Castillo is a filmmaker and videographer from Los Angeles, California.

Josh Castillo is a first-generation Latino American who proudly hails from Los Angeles, shaped by the rich culture of Koreatown and MacArthur Park. A UCLA graduate with a focus on English Creative Writing, Chicano Studies, and Filmmaking, Josh has honed a distinct voice rooted in storytelling and community.  

 

Since 2015, Josh has made a lasting impact in the film industry, excelling as a Grip, Electrician, Videographer, and Editor. His impressive television credits include General Hospital, Mrs. Davis, Presumed Innocent, The Rehearsal (Season 2), and the Untitled Rachel Sennott Program, showcasing his versatility and expertise across a range of high-profile productions.  

 

Currently, Josh brings his creative and technical skills to the forefront as a Videographer and Technical Navigator at LA’s premier comedy club, The Dynasty Typewriter. Whether behind the camera or in the edit bay, Josh approaches every project with precision, passion, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
